Authorities confirmed that 21-year-old Caden Palka of Algonquin died following a collision at the intersection of Randall Road and Technology Drive. The crash occurred around 6:48 p.m., prompting a swift response from officers with the Sleepy Hollow Police Department.
When first responders arrived at the scene, they encountered a catastrophic situation. A 2024 Yamaha motorcycle lay heavily damaged alongside a 2023 Subaru Forester, both vehicles showing clear signs of a high-impact collision. Emergency personnel quickly worked to assess the victims and provide urgent medical care.
Preliminary findings indicate that the motorcycle, traveling southbound on Randall Road, collided with the Subaru as it was heading north and attempting to turn west onto Technology Drive. The force of the crash left Caden Palka critically injured. He was transported to Sherman Hospital, where despite medical efforts, he later succumbed to his injuries.
